A little piece of the reef.
A whole community.

OUR STORY

We built what we wanted to see.

We’re Gunner and Dylon. We both work offshore doing HVAC, and back home we share a love for saltwater tanks. That’s what brought us to building Cajun Coastal Coral Co. here in Lafayette. We wanted a shop where we could enjoy the hobby with other people, talk tanks, trade ideas, and get to know the reef keepers around us. A place where you feel welcome whether you’re buying something or just stopping in to look around.

As we get ready to open our storefront, we’re putting that idea into everything we build. We have 2,000 gallons of show tanks, separate from our sales tanks, a 1,600 gallon live rock system, and 6,000 pounds of dry rock. We’re excited to share it all, but the people who come through the door are what we want this shop to be about.

We want the local community to have a place in the store, too. If you grow corals or macroalgae, make something for the hobby, or have reef equipment or other items you’d like to sell in our shop, reach out and show us what you have. You don’t need to be a big vendor to start that conversation. We’d love to hear from local hobbyists, growers, and makers about what we could do together, both in the store and at our events.

This is something we’re building for the community, and we want you to be part of it. Follow the tank builds, tell us what you’d like to see, or just introduce yourself. We’re looking forward to meeting you.

WHAT WE CARRY

Saltwater fish, corals, and reef supplies.

Saltwater fish, corals, invertebrates and live rock, plus phytoplankton, copepods, chaeto, Dragon’s Breath and other macroalgae.

We also carry reef supplies from Seachem, Dr. Tim’s, Salifert and CaribSea. Give us a call about what you need. We’ll let you know what’s available and help you find the right fit for your tank.
